Joe's Gig At The Keystone & The DV8 Party At The Legion Club

On the Sunday during the same weekend, I met up with Frog, Chris, Ian and Suhalia at the Keystone pub in Guildford. I also saw Mark and his girlfriend there, who I both saw the day before. Julia's boyfriend Joe was doing a gig in the pub garden of the Keystone.
Joe sang very well and he did a funny song called "Don't covert thy neighbours wife unless she's hot" There is a story about this song, but I won't go into the inspiration for the lyrics in my blog. Frog filmed this song, and I've included the link to the video here. See if you can spot me in the crowd!

We all had a great evening at the Keystone, and I enjoyed drinking Pimms for the first time ever, and talking to Frog's friends such as Lesley. I also saw some people I used to work with there, and I chatted to them as well.

After the gig ended at the Keystone, I went to a party I was invited to, which was at the new Legion nightclub in Guildford.
The party was for the launch of a local magazine called DV8. I got an email about it, and I was invited to it, as I had subscribed to the magazine online. I was added to their guest list, and I sent them an email a list of friends, who I wanted to take there along with me.
We all met up at the entrance of the Legion, and we all had a bit of trouble getting in, as they forgot to put me and my friends on the guest list. We argued with them, and as we had a big crowd of us, they let us all in for free!
The party was really fun and we danced around like loons to some great dance tunes. Chris and Mark filmed us all doing some funny dancing. I'm interested to see where this video ends up!

Ian and Suhalia left to go home, and we thanked them for their nice company.
Frog bumped into one of his neighbours in the Legion. She is a very attractive blonde lady, but she is sadly married. She was there with her husband.
The married lady invited me Frog, and Chris back to her house. So we followed her, her husband, and one of her husband friends, back to their house.
It was quite freaky, as her husband's friend Craig, who was with us, also knew one of my friends called Tom, so we spoke about Tom for a while.
When we got to their house, the lady's husband showed us some of the cool toys that they had bought for their children. We played with a mini radio controlled helicopter, and we took turns of flying it around their kitchen, which was cool.
The lady gave us all lots of drinks of vodka and orange, plus some good wine.
We listened to her husbands dance music collection and watched the husband and his friend dance round the living room together.
Another of Frog's neighbours turned up at the house, a very pretty girl called Amy, who was in her early twenties, and she was very nice. Amy's family is friends with one of the Rolling Stones, and she had just come back from a party with them! This girl works for ITV too, and she was very trendy, and with it.
After a while we were asked to leave the house, and we went round Frog's cottage. It was just me, Frog, Chris and Amy left.
Myself and Frog stayed up to watch the sun rise, and we chatted and drank some more. Chris was awake some of the time too.
I left Frog's cottage with Chris in the morning, and I got back home on Monday morning.
Luckily it was a bank holiday Monday, so I just slept in my parent's garden for most of the day.
